I have been MIA this week for a good reason. While I was traveling to Wisconsin last week my dad became ill and ended up in the hospital. He was there from Wednesday until late Sunday afternoon recovering from blood pressure and other issues. For those of you who don't know, my dad also has some dementia and Alzheimers so being ill is confusing and scary to him. As his grown child it is difficult to see him change in personality and to see him unhappy. I am not looking forward to this new season in his life and the changes that will come with it. Out of necessity I will be spending more time involved in his care and daily life to make sure that he is well taken care of. The fact that both of my brother and sister are also really involved is such a relief to me. We are dedicated to making him comfortable and safe for as long as we possibly can. Please keep us in your thoughts over the next few months.

So sorry to hear about your dad.
I also take care of my dad, unfortunatly my siblings don't help out.
Thanks Tracy. That must be rough for you. The stress level we are all feeling is so high, I cant imagine doing it alone. All my best to you. Feel free to email me if you ever need to chat "off the blog". Cainfamily6@yahoo.com
I only check it in the morning and at night but I will always reply.
I am thinking of you all, let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
~Hugs~
