I am on my way to Sacramento for work so I thought I'd take a few pictures while I'm sitting at the airport. One if the things I always do once I get to the airport is get a coffee. I'm glad I waited this time, once I got to my gate and grabbed dinner for during the flight, I figured I would check the board"one more time" to make sure the gate hadn't changed. Of course it had..... this seems to happen a lot in Seattle, not sure why. So once again, I got back on the train and headed back to the main terminal, checked the board, made sure they hadn't changed the gate again, and then went to Starbucks. That's the one thing about traveling, there is almost always a Starbucks and they all have the same stuff so you can always get something familiar. As I was taking these pictures a man walked up to me and said he does the same thing, except he's an architect and takes pictures of interesting things he sees that inspire him. Apparently I'm in good company!! So I'm off to check the board again ,just to be sure. See you in Sacramento.

Working in the Love Shack
What a nice guy.
The scrap page below is one I started when I scrapped at Tiffany's a few weeks ago. I got it done last week and finally took a picture of it today, I like how it turned out.
So I'm off to Sacramento tomorrow night for 3 days of meetings at a customer. I'm kind of mixed about how I feel about traveling again so soon, the work needs to be done but it feels like I just got home.
I'll try to post again from the road, not sure if I'll fit in any scrap shopping but you never now....

Heart at the Puyallup fair

Last night we headed to Puyallup to see Heart at the fair. I haven't been to the fair in a few years and it was fun to walk around and eat all of the yummy fair food. The first place we stopped was for a scone and an elephant ear- So good! Then Jim and Richele needed corn dogs, not my favorite but they enjoyed them. Then we headed over to watch a hypnotist- so hilarious! We had great time with the Schoenings, we always do. The concert was amazing. The last time saw Heart we got stuck in traffic and ended up only seeing two songs so this concert was our "make up" show. They have such a passion for their music and it really comes across when they perform.
If you have never seen them I highly recommend it, you wont be disappointed.

Jim's new truck

Jim has been looking for a truck for the last few months and Saturday we finally found "the one". He wasn't totally sure about the color at first but once we drove it he was definitely sold on it. It's 2004 Dodge ram- with a Hemi!! LOL!
We got an excellent deal on it, now we just need to sell the Durango to help cover some of the cost. Jim has always had one of my hand me down cars so it was really nice to buy him a car that is his and his alone. I know he loves it.

Happy Birthday Kendall !!

It's hard to believe that Kendall is already 17, the time has flown by. When my sister mentioned that her daughter Ashleigh would be 25 this year I about choked. I can remember taking Ash to the circus was she was maybe 5 years old!!

We headed over to Mike's house last night to have some cake and spend some time celebrating Kendall's birthday. All of the Larsen girls were "in the house" and it's never a dull moment when they are all together. That includes you Nancy!! I tried to get a good picture of Mike and Charlee but Mike doesn't cooperate to easily any more. I think Melissa or Nancy finally got a good one after telling him a joke. Happy Birthday Kendall- Love you.

Green Tangerines

After work on my last night in California I decided to take a drive to a scrapbook store I had heard about from Tiffany. I checked to see how far it was and the GPS assured me it was 43 minutes away..... I guess the GPS didn't realize we were in California. If you have ever been on a Cali freeway you know exactly where I'm going with this. It took about an hour and a half to get there. Thank goodness they stay open until 8 pm or it would have been for nothing. Of course the drive back to the hotel, after rush hour, only took about 35 minutes. Anyway, it is seriously a cool store. It is huge and has a great classroom , crop room , digital photo room and a kitchen! The floor space is massive, they have a ton of product. It's almost like an Archivers, it's that big. The ladies were super nice, one was from Washington State so we chatted about home. If you get a chance to stop in there you definitely should, it's a great store! Check out the cool product form October Afternoon, I've never heard of them and I really like it. Cute stuff.

Red Mill Burgers

We love to watch the Food Network and one of our favorite shows is Man Vs Food. So of course when he went to Seattle we paid close attention so we could go to some of the same places and check out the grub. One of the Seattle spots was Red Mill Burgers. and let me just tell you, Red Mill Burgers is definitely worth the drive to Seattle.
I had the Deluxe Bacon Cheeseburger and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely one of the best burgers I have ever had, they use this smoky mayo spread and it is delicious. The kids all had burgers too but Jim had to be different and have a chicken sandwich, I think he secretly wished he had gotten a burger after he took a bite of mine... If you are ever in Seattle you should stop by this local spot, just plan on standing in line because it's not a secret that they have great food.

Hanging out withTiffany

I love the page of Mike below. It really shows how much he has grown up over this summer. The picture is from my nephew Davids house last month, it's our family farm. Love the colors of the paper too, My Mind Eye rocks.
Okay, I'm off to work. Have a great day!!
