Jim took Mike and cousin Cody to Cruefest last Tuesday with Jeff and Cody Schoening. It was over 100 degrees outside and they said it was crazy hot with all of the people and body heat. This was Mike's second concert with Jim and he said it was by far his favorite. They had lawn seats but midway through the show they opened the gates to the reserved seating and Mike and Cody ended up all the way down by the front of the stage for most of the show. Jim said they came back up after the show without shirts on and soaking wet from sweating and rocking out. After the show it was still super hot outside so they headed to the 7-11 for super slurpees for the long drive home. I'm so glad Jim and Mike had this experience together, I still remember my first concert and I'm happy Mike is getting into music just like we all did when we were teens.
